Sugar Awareness Week with SPLENDA®– encouraging a healthy change!
We are all about healthy living here at The Producers and we relish any opportunity to explore healthy lifestyle alternatives. So when our partner agency SOPEXA and their client SPLENDA® approached us to help make some noise around Sugar Awareness Week we jumped at the challenge.
SPLENDA wanted to highlight a growing issue in the UK around increasing sugar consumption by Britons, especially among children and encourage people to make healthy swaps through education.
In order to shock our audience as to how bad our sugar addition has got and inform them of the benefits of SPLENDA, we built the Sugar Mountain which represented the 5,840 cubes of sugar the average Briton consumes a year. Our SPLENDA staff then handed out full packs of SPLENDA minis to encourage the swap along with educational information.
Set against the backdrop of St Paul’s our SPLENDA pyramid worked in two ways, an effective photo moment where our sugar swappers could snap themselves in front of the sugar mountain and share on social, as well as a central hub for sampling SPLENDA to commuters and encouraging them to consider the #NoSugarChallenge.
