We worked with Three UK and our sister agency PrettyGreen, to produce a bespoke 25-metre long undulating art installation in London. Because, 2020… well where do we start?! Lockdown has been bit of a rollercoaster, right? It has affected our daily life from our morning coffee to our bedtime routine, but through the darkness, we have seen some moments shine bright…
Over 70 illustrations were drawn onto the structure by the immensely talented Emmy Lupin, who immortalised trending moments that connected the nation during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The artwork featured key moments, memes and heroes – from Joe Wicks’ home workouts, loo-roll shortages, the return of live sport, Tiger King, Captain Tom and Connell’s chain, the Wembley ‘Big Lasagne’. Not to mention, Chanel the infamous parrot who made a bid for lockdown freedom.
Whilst lockdown has been extremely difficult, and it seems the end of this crisis is still a fair way away it seems. It is important to look back at lockdown to see how far we have come and what has brought the nation together in what has been an unprecendented year. You are still able to scroll through the many moments included within the artwork – simply visit Three on Instagram or Twitter to see a digital version.
